As we continue to improve access to our research materials and databases online, a number of resources will be added to the Conservation Science section, including:
- Small mammal atlas - our long-running small mammal surveys in cooperation with the University of Vermont and the VT Fish and Wildlife Service have yielded a growing inventory of GIS maps showing local small-mammal population densities and diversity. Accompanying the maps we will provide natural history overviews of each species found in our region.
- Current project overviews - an up-to-date list of all running projects with relevant resources, including water quality research, invasive species control, and more
- Citizen scientist volunteer opportunities - resources for the lay-researcher will be provided to encourage and assist community members in documenting the changes happening in the Northern Forest
- Conservation science resources - a full list of our partners, project sponsors, and important databases available for public review
