Park Maintenance and Community Projects

The Conservation Corps has worked with the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation to maintain a number of parks in the Northeast Kingdom, particularly:

• Maidstone State Park
• Brighton
• Sentinel Rock
• and Lyman Falls State Parks

In recent years, the Corps has worked in these public areas maintaining trails, planting trees, and helping with daily operations.

In addition, the Conservation Corps has completed a number community park projects that enrich local communities by providing open green spaces, scenic areas, and places for recreation and leisure.
