One of the ways you can help NorthWoods is by donating new or used items in good working order for use in our programs. Please contact Diana to arrange pick-up of items or Jayson for information about volunteering. Remember, your in-kind donation and expenses associated with volunteering (mileage, etc.) are tax-deductible.

Volunteer opportunities, indoors and out:
• Greeting skiers Saturdays and Sundays (2-4 hours) during ski season
• Folding and stuffing mailings (May & November)
• Baking treats for a Kingdom Coffeehouse in your kitchen or ours
• Trail monitors and maintainers for local NEK hiking trails
• Monitoring water quality, birds, mammals, etc. with our science staff
• Doing Timber Stand Improvement work in our demonstration forest
• Helping out with winter school and camp programs
