Climate change is impacting forests worldwide, and northern Vermont is no exception. This tour of the 1,473 acre NorthWoods forest will focus on climate-adapted silviculture and management, showing our use of Foresters for the Birds and NIACS Adaptation Workbook recommendations.
Discussions will be geared toward foresters and experienced land managers; contact us for CEU availability. Tour will involve rough woods walking and we’ll have lunch in the field (please bring your own bag lunch). Presented with the Forest Stewards Guild, Vermont Land Trust, and Audubon Vermont. Please pre-register by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or (802)723-6551 ext. 302.
