NorthWoods Stewardship Center is looking for qualified candidates to fill numerous short-term and long-term seasonal positions in 2017. The NorthWoods Conservation Corps is accepting applications for roughly 20 Crew Leader and 42 Crew member positions throughout the Northeast (northern Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and Connecticut). Conservation crews complete a variety of river, wildlife, and trail management projects during an intensive 6-week summer field season. All crew staff receive professional training, hands-on work experience, and competitive wages. Additionally, qualified staff may be eligible for housing, internship credit, college course credit, and Americorps education awards.
Also in 2017, NorthWoods is offering several new or expanded long-term, seasonal positions through the NorthWoods Conservation Corps. These include 900-hour (6 month) and 450-hour (3 month) Americorps Crew positions, a 7-month Watershed Coordinator position, and several 12-week US Fish and Wildlife Service Internships. While dates and wages vary, all positions offer extensive opportunities for training, educational and career exploration.
Crew Leader and Corps Member applications are currently online, with February and April deadlines (or until all positions are filled). To inquire about the Watershed Coordinator, Americorps Crew, or USFWS Intern positions, please contact email@example.com for detailed descriptions or to apply.
