Sentinel Rock & Burke Mountain ADA Trails

The NorthWoods Conservation Corps has completed their trail work at Sentinel Rock State Park. As of now, the park has a 240’ Universal Access trail that spurs from the glacial erratic. From the ADA trail, there’s a small footpath that leads to the lower parking area and a brand new trail that leads to the wooded, multi-use trails. Agnes M. Lindsay Camp Scholarships

NorthWoods Stewardship Center is pleased to announce a grant from the Manchester, NH based Agnes M. Lindsay Foundation to offer scholarships for children attending NorthWoods summer camps, including new Mountain Bike, Earth Sisters, and Science Discovery Camps. Full and partial scholarships are available. "Every kid deserves to experience the camaraderie and direct connection to the natural world that NorthWoods camps provide,” says NorthWoods Camps Director Maria Young. “We're fortunate to partner with Agnes M. 3rd Annual Randonnee Rally

NorthWoods Stewardship Center had a great time teaming up with Burke Mountain and Dynafit Sponsors for the 3rd Annual Randonnee Rally, which celebrates speedy ascents and descents of mountains, under human muscle power. There was a great turnout, and the Olympic spirit was felt by all! This year's event was sanctioned by the United States Ski Mountaineering Association.

Sunday, February 9th, 8:30 Mass Start Race Class: A USSMA sanctioned Category II race, which includes: 4,300 feet vertical gain, 1 boot pack, lengthy skins and 7 transitions, including mass start dash to skis.
