NorthWoods offers a variety of terrain with over 20 kilometers of groomed and backcountry trails for skiing and snowshoeing. Maps are available at the self-serve kiosk and at selected trail locations. The PDF maps on this page are geo-referenced and once downloaded can be used with mobile apps such as Avenza<\/a> to help you stay on the trail. Donations for trail use help defray trail grooming and maintenance expenses.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\nTrail Network: 23.9 Total Kilometers<\/strong>, 13.3k Groomed, 10.6k Ungroomed\/backcountry<\/strong>

Trail use Suggested Donation<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Daily – $5\/Individual, $15\/Family<\/p>\n

Annual – $35\/Individual, $50\/Family<\/p>\n

Trail Use is free for Residents of Charleston, Island Pond, and Morgan.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>

Programs & Activities<\/h3>\n

NorthWoods offers guided programs, lessons, and private events by appointment and activities are appropriate for all ages. Offered by reservation. Email: ski@northwoodscenter.org for more information.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Winter Ecology Ski & Snowshoe Tours:<\/strong> Learn tips for tracking, discover the secrets of life in the cold, practice winter tree identification and explore new terrain. Equipment provided.<\/p>\n

Events and Facility Rental<\/strong>: Schedule an event at NorthWoods and reserve our Lodge, Bunkhouse, or Trails for your next private or community gathering. Our facilities are available for weddings, parties, meetings, and guided outings. Access to kitchen, trails, pond, and equipment. Contact us for dates and rates.<\/p>\n<\/div>
