Where does our lumber come from?<\/h3>\n

\"\"This material was harvested from sustainably managed forests in the Northeast Kingdom, including the NorthWoods demonstration forest. Our forest is recognized by the Forest Stewards Guild as a Model Forest, enrolled in the Vermont Tree Farm program, and protected by a conservation easement with the Vermont Land Trust.<\/p>\n

Anywhere that we cut trees, our goal is to leave a healthy, valuable and beautiful forest when we\u2019re done. We do not high-grade. We use small scale equipment and low impact harvest techniques to protect the trees and soil in our forest. Our lumber is milled on-site by a local sawyer and carefully stacked, stickered and covered for exceptional quality.<\/p>\n
