Willoughby State Forest Weekly Trails Update All the trails have been groomed as of 2/9/2018, which include the Little Loop, Middle Loop, Bartlett Loop, the Connector trail, the CCC road and the Bartlett Mountain rd. Tracks are set on the Little and along with the two roads. Willoughby State Forest is a testament of just how much snow we get in the NEK. 2/2 Trails Update: Good News & Bad News

Good News: There are 5 inches of fresh powder out on the trails! Woohoo! Bad News: Our snowmobile has broken down. ☹️ Which means that despite our best laid plans to groom the Mt Hor trails today, it looks like grooming will be on hiatus until the needed repairs occur. We are hoping that will mean we'll be back out by Sunday, but it could be next week. Willoughby State Forest Weekly Trails Update All the trails have been groomed as of 1/14/2018, which include the Little Loop, Middle Loop, Bartlett Loop, the Connector trail, the CCC road and the Bartlett Mountain Rd. Tracks are set on the Little and Middle loops along with the two roads. The warm temps and rain will not stop us this time! Willoughby State Forest Weekly Trails Update The Trails in Willoughby State Forest are in GREAT SHAPE after the last storm! All the trails have been groomed as of 12/29, which include the Little Loop, Middle Loop, Bartlett Loop, the Connector trail, the CCC road and the Bartlett Mountain rd. Tracks are set on the Little and Middle loops along with the two roads. There is about a two foot base now. We plan to groom again after New Years day, weather permitting. Willoughby State Forest Trails Update The Trails in Willoughby State Forest are ready to go! All the trails have been groomed which include the Little Loop, Middle Loop, Bartlett Loop, the CCC road and the Bartlett Mountain Rd. Tracks are set on the Little and Middle loops along with the two roads. There is about a one foot base and lots of fresh powder out there. We will get another grooming in before Christmas. Mid-Winter Edition Its official! Mid-winter is here! And boy you would know it by looking outside. The thermometer is hovering well below freezing and the snow continues to pile up. The backcountry is filling in beautifully and the groomed trails are superb! Whether you are out on the trails here at NorthWoods, at Kingdom Trails, Memphremagog Trails, Mt. So Far, So Great! The snow keeps coming and, even though we were spared the brunt of the recent Nor'easter, the inches are adding up to feet. As mid-winter approaches, our snowbase is a solid 24 inches and I think it's safe to say we no longer have 'early season conditions'. In fact, it's fair to say we have great mid-winter conditions which means our Nordic trails are in prime shape!
