Jenny first came to the NEK when her sons attended Burke Mountain Academy. She has a BA from Colgate University and moved to VT for the summer after graduation but never left. She raised her 2 boys in West Hartford, VT where she was the Controller for Green Mountain Partners, a Private Equity Fund, for 17 years. When GMP made the decision not to raise a 4th fund, she drew on her experience as a past board member of The Upper Valley Waldorf School and Burke Mountain Academy and became Development Director of the Upper Valley Waldorf School for 4 years.
Jenny realized that Burke was where her family felt was home and she moved to East Burke full time. Jenny has been the Business Manager at NorthWoods since February 2024. Her first introduction to NorthWoods was as a participant in the Westmore Challenge. NorthWoods allows her to use her skills in the Business Office while enjoying the recreational opportunities of the region, occasionally commuting to work via bike in the summer and frequently getting out onto the Nordic trails at NorthWoods and Willoughby State Forest in the winter.
