March 30 – Grooming operations have concluded at Willoughby State Forest, NorthWoods, and Dashney Nordic Center. It was a stellar season, and we hope many of you had a chance to enjoy the snow and these beautiful networks. Many thanks to our partners (Burke Mountain and the State of Vermont) and especially to the hard work of the groomers – Dusty May, Blase Saucedo, Charles Hill and Barrett Nichols.

There is still plenty of snowpack out there! All these trail networks remain open to public access. Please continue to wear skis or snowshoes to avoid making post holes that will hasten the deterioration of the trail, and lead to unpleasant traveling for others. We’ll keep you posted on mud season trail closures, but until then, we hope you’ll be able to get out there and welcome spring in the woods. See you out there!
