NorthWoods and Willoughby State Forest received about 8 inches of beautiful snow on 1/2/21. However, there was no base prior to this snow. With the exception of some closed trails at both locations, trails are open to the public. Please ski with caution as early season hazards exist, and use snowshoes to prevent postholes in our early season snowpack.
