    Level 1 - Saturday, June 27 Level 2 - Sunday, June 28 Cost: $250 per level Expert instructors from Northeast Woodland Training will teach the fundamentals of safe chainsaw use, precision tree felling, and equipment care. Take the guesswork out of sawing- your safety matters! The minimum age for Game of Logging classes at NorthWoods is 16 years old. Participants ages 16-17 must have a parent/guardian waiver.     Forest Thinning Workshop

    Do you have spruce-fir stands or mixed softwood and hardwood stands that need thinning? Is it something you think you could do yourself if you knew how? NorthWoods Stewardship Center along with VWA can help! Join NorthWoods Director of Forest Stewardship Jenny Newland and landowner Al Robertson for a forest thinning workshop. Outreach Events and Workshops Cancellation Policy: Unless otherwise noted, 50% refunds will be provided for cancellations made at least a week before workshop start date. No refunds for reservations cancelled less than seven days before the workshop start date. Workshop dates and venues are subject to change. NorthWoods Stewardship Center reserves the right to cancel a program at any time, in which case NorthWoods will notify registrants via email and a full refund will be provided.
