Game of Logging Levels 1 & 2

NorthWoods Stewardship Center 154 Leadership Drive, East Charleston

Level 1 – Saturday, September 20 Level 2 – Sunday, September 21 Cost: $250 per level Expert instructors from Northeast Woodland Training will teach the fundamentals of safe chainsaw use, precision tree felling, and equipment care. Take the guesswork out of sawing- your safety matters! The minimum age for Game of Logging classes at NorthWoods is 16 years old. Participants ages 16-17 must have a parent/guardian waiver. Fall Riparian Seed Collection Workshop

NorthWoods Stewardship Center 154 Leadership Drive, East Charleston

Sunday, September 21, 1pm-3pm Learn about seed id, collection, and processing techniques used for fall species and how you can help us scout for species of interest. Attendees of the classroom workshop will be invited to practice what they have learned by participating in a field collection workshop in October. This course is eligible for credits with the Society of American Foresters.
