October 3-4 9am - 4:30pm @ the NorthWoods Lodge A two-day immersion in beaver ecology and river science, with a focus on the relationship between beavers, watershed health, and flood resilience. A combination of field trips, discussions, and classroom instruction, this retreat is for those who want to understand the complex role that beavers play in creating ecosystems, managing water, and sometimes causing headaches for humans along the way. Outreach Events and Workshops Cancellation Policy: Unless otherwise noted, 50% refunds will be provided for cancellations made at least a week before workshop start date. No refunds for reservations cancelled less than seven days before the workshop start date. Workshop dates and venues are subject to change. NorthWoods Stewardship Center reserves the right to cancel a program at any time, in which case NorthWoods will notify registrants via email and a full refund will be provided.
