October 3-4 9am - 4:30pm @ the NorthWoods Lodge A two-day immersion in beaver ecology and river science, with a focus on the relationship between beavers, watershed health, and flood resilience. A combination of field trips, discussions, and classroom instruction, this retreat is for those who want to understand the complex role that beavers play in creating ecosystems, managing water, and sometimes causing headaches for humans along the way.
